Mission Statement:
The mission of HobbyBroadcaster.net is to promote the use of legal, low power, license-free broadcasting utilizing the standard AM and FM broadcast bands as defined under the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Part 15 regulations as well as Canada's corresponding regulations (IC RSS-210). The information provided here is to assist radio enthusiasts with a variety of skill levels ranging from the novice with little electronics background to those possessing an advanced understanding of audio, general electronics and broadcasting. The purpose of this site is to promote and advance the use of Part 15 compliant broadcasting for a variety of applications including campus-limited radio, business specialty use in addition to hobby radio pursuits.
The HobbyBroadcaster.net community forums provide a family friendly environment where enthusiasts, regardless of age or skill level, may seek assistance and/or share advice in pursuing their own personal growth in the understanding of Part 15 compliant low power radio broadcasting through an interactive exchange with other like-minded individuals.

HobbyBroadcaster.net and its operator(s), partners, advertisers, developers, etc., do not condone or advocate any operation outside of the applicable regulations for your region. Illegal or "pirate" operation is outside of the focus of this web site.
Station Directory:
Operators of low power stations compliant with United States and Canada regulations are eligible to participate in the online station directory. Station operators may submit the appropriate information using the directory request page located on the HobbyBroadcaster.net web site. Entries are manually reviewed for completeness as well as to ascertain compliance. Your directory request may be delayed or removed if operational compliance with regulations can not be confirmed. Inclusion of an FCC ID (certification) number or other supporting data for a manufactured, home-brew or kit transmitter of lesser known origin may assist in processing your request. Station directory updates are performed during site maintenance and listings may not appear immediately after submission of an initial addition or correction request.
Use of Forum Community:
You agree, through your use of the forum community, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.
