Part 15 Radio Station Directory:
There are many reason people operate Part 15 transmitters. Some operate them for the purpose of simple yardcasting so they can hear their stereo, police scanner, web radio or other entertainment audio source without having to be limited to a single area of one's home. Many people use their transmitters to demonstrate or enjoy their antique radio collections. Many others, from individuals to educational institutions, prefer to use their transmitters to emulate the radio station experience with their own custom programming. It is this group of people who have their stations listed here.
Add or Modify Your Station Listing in the Directory:
This Part 15 community radio station directory is simply a listing of known stations and is by no means comprehensive since it relies on user submissions. It may also be out of date if users fail to to submit removal of discontinued stations. Station operators are encouraged to submit their station information for inclusion in the directory.
This station directory is open to unlicensed stations that are FCC Part 15 compliant utilizing a free radiating antenna as well as carrier current and radiating cable stations normally found on high school and college campuses. Academic institutions are welcome to add their school station to the online directory. Stations are welcome to submit their station information for inclusion in the online station directory. The new online submission form allows you to include all the information required to be listed in the directory..
Note: Preferred placement in the station directory will be given to stations providing a link back to the HobbyBroadcaster.net web site.
