Transmitter Advisories:
ATTENTION: We recently were able to contact Mr. Thomas Webb of TAW-Global, the US distributor of the Whole House FM transmitter. It does appear the manufacturer had been issued an FCC ID number (QKQRF-2001) for the transmitter being marketed as the Whole House FM Transmitter Gold.
The following links are to the Federal Communications Commission web site showing the past citation issued to TAW Global regarding this product as well as Richfield Electronics of China, the manufacturer of the transmitter. This is being presented here for historical information purposes.
FCC Citation DA 09-437 against TAW Global - Marketer
FCC Notice of Apparent Liability - Richfield Electronics - Manufacturer
To date we have been unable to confirm that the Drive-By Broadcaster and Radio House Tour FM Transmitters also marketed by TAW Global are compliant with FCC Part 15 regulation applicable to these devices. All pre-assembled Part 15 FM transmitters sold in the United States must be certified and have their FCC ID number prominently affixed and visible on the transmitter.
